At GridFlow he specializes in vanadium redox flow batteries, tackling long-duration energy storage that gives commercial customers energy resiliency. As lead software developer at Pii Energy he builds the full-stack platform behind a direct-to-consumer plug-in solar hybrid system that delivers peak shifting and energy cost savings. A former researcher at the National Solar Observatory and Lockheed Martin, he is first author on a NASA/NSF-funded solar spectroscopy poster and a co-author on published work in glass physics, X-ray absorption spectroscopy, and plasma science.
